The Opening Ceremony of Russian-Korean Centre of Equipment for maritime facilities and civil vessels took place in Pusan (Republic of Korea)
Russian-Korean Centre of Equipment for maritime facilities was opened in Pusan. The event took place with participation of Meridian RPF JSC (as a part of JSC Concern Morinsys-Agat) and Korean Maritime Equipment Research Institute (KOMERI) during the visit of the Russian delegation to Korea from the 20th to the 23rd of August, 2019.
The sides have discussed opportunities of joint development of equipment for unmanned navigation and enhancing the ecologic safety of marine transport (by using electric and LNG powered engines). Also, the roadmap for localization of Korean equipment at Russian companies was discussed as the first stage of Russian-Korean cooperation in the area of maritime equipment.
